What is the Fields Stain Kit? This stain kit is used for the detection of malarial parasites in blood films. Fields Stain is one of the original Romanowsky stains using methylene blue in a weak solution of eosin. With some modifications it can be used fairly satisfactorily for the rapid staining of thin blood films.
